Buying (Within the mainland UK)

Our website is set up to offer you the opportunity to order your dress with ease. Please make sure to check the measurements information (listed below) before making your purchase. At the checkout there will be a flat rate postage charge of £20 for all orders within the UK. If you are making a purchase from Guernsey, Jersey or Ireland, the delivery charges are different. For 3 days this will cost £45 or for 5 days this will cost £35. This is due to the EU regulations.  Here at Sofi Designs Bridal we use Royal Mail signed and tracked posting services to ensure your order arrives safely. Delivery can take between 3-5 working days. If you would like to discuss your order before confirmation, or if you would like to order over the phone feel free to give us a call.

Measurements

We would like our customers to understand that all of our designer outfits are manufactured in standard dress sizes and not in bespoke measurements. It is expected that the dress may require alterations in particular areas (height, bust and arms etc.) as our beautiful bodies come in all shapes and sizes. If the dress is a little long, loose around the bust or wherever the fitting needs adjusting, don’t panic – we advise that you contact a seamstress in your area who can alter the dress to fit you ‘like a glove’, as they say. We please ask that you seek advice from a seamstress before contacting ourselves for a refund and return if the product does not fit as well as you hoped. We assure you, it is a common occurrence with the high-end designer products that is easily resolved. If you remain unhappy with your purchase please do not hesitate to contact us.

Each designer is manufactured differently, so you may fall under a different dress size than you expected due to the fit of each dress. We please ask that you take the time to measure yourself following these guidelines below:

Bust: Place tape under arm and measure around the fullest part of your bust and across shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline.
Hips: Measure around the widest part with feet together, approximately 20cm below waistline.

Using your measurements please order in response to the size guide, but please note this size guide is to help you but may not be precise. If in doubt, we recommend that you order one size above your dress size to give yourself plenty of room for seamstress alterations to bring the dress size down to fit you perfectly. After all, it’s always easier to take a dress in than to let a dress out. If you would like further assistance with sizing, we are more than willing to help.

Distance Buying (Outside the UK – Worldwide Deliveries)

If you have found your dream dress and would like us to send it to your address located outside the UK it is best that you message us either through email, the ‘contact us’ page or give us a call on 01256 324442 and we can discuss with you the appropriate postage costs. You will be asked to pay over the phone by credit or debit card. This will be for the cost of the item and the postage cost. Due to the fabrics being delicate and of high quality they require meticulous and careful packing to ensure their safe arrival. Please spare enough time for the delivery of your order, this can take up to 7 working days from the postage date. If you have any further enquiries regarding worldwide delivery, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Returning the Outfit (Email and telephone orders only)

If you do not wish to keep the outfit, please notify us within 7 days (including Saturdays and Sundays) of its arrival with you. The outfit should then be sent back to us, using the address label which is provided inside your parcel and after we have received the dress and it has been inspected, the full cost of the outfit will be refunded – please note the refund excludes a £25 administration fee and all postage costs which will be deducted from the final refund total.

If we do not hear from you within this time limit we will assume that you are keeping the outfit and a refund will not be made. Returns can only be made from within the UK or EC. Reimbursement will be made within 21 days.

Please note Returns are not available when goods are bought at the shop in person. This is why we allow you to take your time in our shop when trying on such gorgeous dresses.

Condition of the Product for Return

 Outfits must be in the same perfect condition as when they were sent out. Any damage when the outfit leaves us will have been agreed with you and written on a label on the outfit. Any damage sustained whilst in the client’s possession will mean a refund cannot be made. Many outfits are fragile, use great care and keep covered when not being tried on. Wear protection over your head when fitting to avoid makeup stains. Perfume and cigarette smoke are not acceptable.

Return of Goods

This is the sole responsibility of the buyer and a refund will not be made if the outfit is damaged. All swing tickets and labels must be in place. We use Royal Mail with insurance in the UK and we suggest you do the same. Keep tracking labels in case the parcel does not arrive. When a parcel arrives with you check the packaging for damage and if present inspect the contents before signing for it. If there is damage to the packaging ask the postman to Sign it ‘Damaged Delivery’.

We want you to find our service easy and efficient, all the above seldom causes a problem and is only in place to protect you and ourselves from any misunderstanding. We look forward to being able to help you find just what it is you are looking for.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL FOR ORDERS PLACED ONLINE

We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. We know that you may want to return items you bought online. Our returns policy applies to all of our products except for tiaras & jewellery.

We accept the return of items after dispatch only if they are unworn and are in their original and resalable condition i.e. clean, intact, with hangers and all tags still attached by their original means, and in the original packaging in which it was sent. Garments that have deodorant stains or odours will not be accepted for return.

Your right to cancel an order starts when you place your order on our website shop and ends 14 days after that. If you wish to cancel your order you must return the items back to us within 14 days of the cancellation. We regret that items received after this time or without a valid returns number will be refused and sent back to you.

You are responsible for the safe return of products to us, including the cost Shipping. It is recommended that you insure your return parcel in case of loss or damage.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS

If you return the goods within the timescales above and provided that the terms of this agreement have been met, we will issue a full refund for the price that you paid –

MINUS a £25 administration fee AND the initial delivery/postage cost.

We will refund you using your original payment method within 14 days of receipt of the items by us.

If you wish to cancel an order – a £25 administration fee will be deducted from the refund credit.

We will endeavour to send you an e-mail to let you know when we have processed your refund.
